The mezzo-soprano Albane Carrère was born in Vienna, Austria.
After a master's degree in sociology, she entered the Royal Conservatory of Music and the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Brussels. She then perfected herself at the European Opera Center, in the master classes of Teresa Berganza, Nadine Denize and Ann Murray, at the Academy of Music of the Aix-en-Provence Festival and with Claudine Hunault for the staging.
For the 2019/2020 season you can find Albane - among others - in Annina in Verdi's La Traviata during a Japanese tour in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya; in Cherub in Mozart's Les Petites Noces in a creation at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées, Rouen opera house and Avignon; in Therese in Thérèse de Massenet in Brussels; in Suzuki in Puccini's Madame Butterfly during a tour in Southern Italy, and again in many recitals: Requiem Saint-Saëns in Paris, Recital Robert and Clara Schumann on a Belgian-French tour, Stabat Mater by Pergolèse with the Rosasolis Ensemble, Mahler concerts in San Remo and Cannes, Mozart concerts and Beethoven with Contraste.

But let's go back a bit ...
In 2005, the Belgian Lyric Festival "Solistes au Domaine" invites him alongside Barbara Hendricks, José Van Dam and Yvan Rebroff. She is also regularly in concerts at the Brussels Summer Festival, Nuits musicales de Beloeil, Mosan Summer Festival, Midis-Minimes, Festival de Stavelot and Bozar in Brussels.
Her operatic debut was in 2008 at the Ghent Opera in the role of Mallika (Lakmé de Delibes), then in the musical La Mélodie du Bonheur in the role of Maria at the Palais des Beaux-Arts and at the Forum from Liège.
In 2010 she became involved in the title role of Thérèse de Massenet at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie (Liège) and was invited several times to the Progetto Martha Argerich in Switzerland to perform the role of Samantha in "La Fugue". Alexis Weissenberg accompanied by Martha Argerich.
Between 2010 and 2012, she is distinguished from the status of soloist in residence at the Opéra de Rouen. Then come roles such as: the Second Lady (Mozart's Die Zauberflöte) at the Toulon Opera, Karolka (Leoš Janáček's Jenufa), Mrs Grose (Britten's Tour of the Nut) and Flora (Verdi's Traviata) at the Opera of Versailles.
In 2013-2014, his career took a new turn with a world premiere: Benoît Mernier's Dispute at the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie in Brussels, in the role of Adine. She then sings as a soloist at the Théâtre Antique des Chorégies d'Orange with the Orchester Lyrique d'Avignon. Then follow Zerlina (Mozart's Don Giovanni) in Tours and Reims as well as for the Open Air Opera Festival (directed by Patrick Poivre d'Arvor), or Mercedes in Carmen, then Lucienne (Die Tote Stadt, Korngold) in the Opéra de Nantes and the Opéra national de Lorraine.
She also performs in concerts, notably in Paris, at the Petit Palais and at the Cité de la Musique with Opera Fuoco, at the Toulon Opera, in Bordeaux with CroisiEurope and in St. Petersburg, then in Sweden with the Ensemble Contraste.
In 2015-2016, she participated on France 3 in the very first edition of the program Armchairs of Orchestra in duet with Ruggero Raimondi. She creates with the ensemble Contraste, The Fairy Queen of Purcell at the Opera of Metz, before interpreting the Fox in Janacek's The Little Cunning Vixen at the Amphitheater Bastille, Mercedes in Carmen at the Opera Grand Avignon, La Gypsy in Janacek's Diary of a Vanished, and then Donna's title role in the world premiere of Peter Eötvös's Senza Sangue at the Grand Avignon Opera House, the Gothenburg Concert Hall in Sweden, and the Armel Opera Festival Budapest.
2017-2018: The beautiful roles are always linked with the re-starring of Donna in Senza Sangue by Peter Eötvös under his direction in London, Barbican then Hackney Empire, Garcias in Don Quixote at the Bordeaux Opera, Cunegonde in the King Carrot at the Opera of Lille, Clotilde in Norma at the Opera of Saint-Etienne, Rouen and the Opera of Muscat (Oman), Alisa in Lucia di Lammermoor at the Opera de Bordeaux, Marie in Moses and Pharaoh at the Rossini Festival in Bad Wildbad .... She also goes on tour with the ensemble Contraste especially in the Stabat Mater of Pergolese.
2018-2019: Still very beautiful moments for this season with Cherubin in The Marriage of Figaro by Mozart in Avignon, Enrichetta di Francia in I puritani, Bersi in Andrea Chenier at the Verdi Theater in Trieste but also Concepcion in the Spanish Hour in Cannes or Marguerite in Berlioz's Damnation de Faust at the Phénix de Valenciennes, moments completed by numerous concerts, creations and recitals, including Berlioz's Les Nuits d'Eté at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées and at the Besançon Festival, and Le Cosmicomi
